Westpoint.

Last Sunday, the 1st of April, I went to the quilt show at Westpoint in Exeter. There were some lovely quilts on show,, and I did take some pictures,, but I will not be putting them on here! I do not want to upset the owners. Whilst there I made a few purchases,,

I bought this as I want to try a Crazy Patchwork block,, and this has a lot of bits!!
I did buy a pack of fat quarters to finish off the Funky Chick embroidery cushion that I am making,, and thought I had a picture of it,, but I can't find it!!
It was a really strange day at the show,,, in the fact that it was 'very' quiet!! Hardly anyone there,, no pushing or shoving. Brilliant!!
Off to work on my Crazy Patch,, quite addictive actually. Hopefully there will be a picture of that next time!!

  1. I love crazy patchwork Caz, will look forward to seeing what you do with yours. I wonder why the Exeter show was so quiet, lovely for the visitors, but frustrating for the exhibitors and sellers.

  2. That pack looks great Caz. I think I spy some nice hand dyed silk ribbon in it.
Nice that you had plenty of room to move about at the show although not good for the poor stall holders trying to make it worth their while.
