Tintagel,,,, and a Finish!!

After visiting Port Isaac,,,, we popped along to Tintagel to have a look at the castle.
I should have taken some oxygen with me!!
I walked up these stairs not knowing how steep they were,, and each step was a different depth. Took me a while to get to the top. The stairs you can see opposite with the people on were not as bad as the first lot.

Tintagel is a place to visit, to 'soak up' the atmosphere,, to enjoy the views,, and to know that 'King Arthur' was born there!!

And now for the finish,,,,
 My redwork hanging fits nicely over the frosted window of my front door. Keeps the landing light out at night!!

  5. Oy my gosh that place looks amazing, I've heard of Tintagel but have no clue where it is ?
    Your redwork is stunning - is it quilted ? How do you do the middle writing-y bit ?
