Allsorts,,,,

Thank you all for the comments on the previous post,, much appreciated!

Malvern,,, I went to this quilt show with a couple of friends from my quilt group,, and I spent some money,,,, of course!! I got some much needed red fabric to finish off my redwork quilt,, which I shall do on my next week off from work. And I couldn't resist buying some more Crazy patchwork kits from Farne Designs ,,,
I had to buy three,, cos I couldn't decide on which one to get.
The colours in Carnival are gorgeous,,,,

and I have decided to put a little more on the blocks I have already made,,, after reading Briony's blog ..... And it is looking better with more embellishments on it!!

Popular Patchwork forum,,,,have just had a Row by Row swap and I have finally received my last row. Here they are all together,, not the final arrangement though.
I am not sure how I am going to finish it,,, I do want to put sashing between the rows,, not sure of the colour yet, probably something neutral!

Knitting,,, I saw this little scarf/shawl in the Let's Knit magazine, issue 66, and thought I would give it a go,,
Lace,, never done it before with such thin wool,, I am using Debbie Bliss Rialto Lace on 4mm needles.
It is knitted in two halves with 10 lace patterns in each.
It is slow going as I don't knit through the week,, too tired from work, and I don't want to get it wrong.

This 'Ape',, sits outside a house nearby,,, must be a GuardApe!!!

 And some cows,,,, just because!!!!
                                                         XxX
